About the Big Heart Foundation

Originally set up as a fundraising campaign in 2013, The Big Heart Foundation was developed into a full-fledged foundation, in 2015, proceeded by various initiatives and campaigns launched by Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bent Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs.

The Foundation’s mandate is to protect and empower vulnerable children and their families in vulnerable situations across the world. Since then, TBHF has provided health, education and emergency aid services – among others – to almost 4 million people in need more than 25 countries.

What is Designers for Gaza?

Designers for Gaza is an emergency relief print sale by sukoun in collaboration with The Big Heart Foundation, with all proceeds being donated to Tarahum for Gaza.

Why The Big Heart Foundation?

Besides its longstanding efforts in supporting the people of Palestine through healthcare, education, and emergency relief, The Big Heart Foundation is one of few charities worldwide where 100% of the donated amount is given to communities in need.

No administrative fees will be deducted from the donated amount.

How are the prints priced?

A price cannot be truly put to the invaluable efforts of creatives who give resonance to the Palestinian voice. The price tag does not reflect the artworks’ true value.

That being said, the prints are priced affordably so they can be accessible to you, while also being helpful to the people of Gaza. All proceeds are directly donated to The Big Heart Foundation’s Tarahum for Gaza.

What will I receive?

Posters and postcards are available for purchase through our store. Here are the specs:

  • Posters: 50x70 cm, fine art paper, packaged in a poster tube
  • Postcards: 15x15 cm, cardstock paper,
packaged in an envelope

Please note that the prints are not framed to keep them affordable.

When will I receive my print(s)?

Please allow us a maximum of 2-3 weeks for shipping.
